Sydney & Brandon
Scott County Park — Parkview, Iowa
Sydney and Brandon met us at Scott County Park in Parkview on a cool October evening. We started in the timber where the light filters through the bare branches, then wandered out to the prairie trails as the sun dropped. It was mostly walking, talking, and letting them be ridiculous with each other — the ring shots and the quiet moments happened in between. Scott County Park is one of our favorite engagement locations in the Quad Cities: woods, open fields, water, and paved trails all within a few minutes of each other.

Countryside barn venue — Quad Cities area
Ryan and Lizzie gathered everyone on a hilltop lawn under a timber cross, then moved the whole party into the barn for candlelit family-style tables. We photographed it start to finish — the rehearsal walk-through, the buffet line, the toasts after dark — the same documentary way we cover every celebration.

Backyard engagement party — Quad Cities, Iowa
Mandy and Taylor threw an engagement party on a warm June evening — balloons over the welcome sign, a 'Just Engaged' cake, and turf underfoot. We covered it the way we cover a reception: no lineups, no announcements, just the toasts, the hugs, and the friends who kept refilling each other's cups until the string lights came on.

Oceanfront lava rock — Hawaii engagement session
Tyler and Ali celebrated their engagement on the lava rock at the water's edge, palms and surf behind them. Close, quiet frames — her hand on his jaw with the ring catching the last of the sun — then a slow sit on the rocks as the tide came in.

The Parthenon, Centennial Park — Nashville, Tennessee
Emily and Alex took us to Centennial Park in Nashville for golden hour at the Parthenon. We worked the colonnade first — long shadows, warm stone, a dip and a kiss between the columns — then walked down to Lake Watauga as the sun dropped behind the trees. Their session is a good reminder that we travel: same relaxed, documentary approach whether it's the Quad Cities riverfront or a landmark six hours south.

Bre & Luke
Atlantic coast beach session
Bre and Luke wanted salt air and bare feet, so we met them on the beach for the last hour of sun. We sat in the dunes while the light went gold, then followed them down to the waterline where they waded in and kissed with the waves breaking behind them. No posing beyond a nudge here and there — just the two of them, warm light, and the ocean doing the rest. Destination engagement sessions like this are some of our favorite work.

Cal & Olivia
Private wine cellar proposal
Cal planned the whole thing in a candlelit wine cellar — brick walls, warm pendant light, and a table set for two. We tucked in ahead of time so Olivia had no idea, and caught the moment the ring box came out, the hands over her mouth, the kiss, and the champagne that followed. Proposal coverage is some of our favorite documentary work: no posing, no direction, just the real thing as it happens.

Where we work
Engagements across the Quad Cities and surrounding Iowa & Illinois towns
We are based minutes north of Davenport in Eldridge, Iowa, which puts every Quad Cities venue inside a short drive — Davenport, Bettendorf, Moline, East Moline, Rock Island, Le Claire, Silvis and Milan included. Travel inside the Quad Cities metro is always included in our packages, and we regularly shoot the river towns and farm country beyond it without a travel fee.
