Austyn & Keegan

Williamsburg, Iowa

A blue-sky August wedding on a hilltop just outside Williamsburg. The morning started with a first look with Austyn's dad in the getting-ready suite, and by afternoon the whole party — dog included — was out on the ceremony patio in sage and sand. Keegan wiped away tears before Austyn even reached him. We slipped away for portraits in the field behind the barn while the corn was still tall, then spent the night documenting one of the loudest dance floors of the year, ending with both of them lifted above the crowd.

Sam & Justin

Wheatland, Iowa

A golden-hour bluff ceremony on the eastern Iowa river hills. The day started small and quiet — rings and a bouquet set on Justin's worn leather boots, Sam holding her flowers against the lace of her dress. We walked out to the overlook for bridal portraits with the timber turning behind her, then documented the vows and ring exchange as the last of the light came sideways across the ridge. Warm, unhurried, and entirely theirs.

Jake & Morgyn

Ainsworth, Iowa

A backyard August wedding at the Tate family home. The morning opened with the gown hanging from a pine branch and an invitation suite laid out on a whiskey barrel — burnt orange, deep teal, and pampas. Morgyn's bridesmaids gathered in emerald and rust, and their newborn made his first wedding appearance in her arms before the ceremony. Guests sat on lawn chairs and hay bales in the grass as she came down the aisle, and the rest of the day was golf-cart rides, a cold Busch Light, and a slow, blue-lit dance floor at the reception.

Mandy & Taylor

Arenas del Mar — Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica

A black-tie destination wedding on the Pacific coast. The morning started with a palm-print invitation suite, velvet ring boxes, and champagne on the balcony with her mom and bridesmaids. Mandy's father saw her for the first time on a cliff above the ocean, and they said their vows on the sand with waves breaking behind them. The night ended under a tented dance floor strung with cafe lights — a dip, a kiss, and a barefoot party in the sand.
