A spring session in an open field with the two of them and their husky. No stiff posing — just walking, laughing, and getting knocked over by a very enthusiastic dog. We finished along a corrugated metal wall for a few sharper frames before the wind picked up.

A golden-hour announcement session on a quiet country lane — ultrasound photos in hand, fence lines glowing, and the two of them laughing their way from the field to the gravel drive. We ended flat on the grass with the last of the light behind them.

Golden hour on a horse pasture — white fence lines, an open field, and a truck they refused to leave out of the photos. We started on the tailgate and ended with a dip in the grass as the sun dropped behind the treeline.

We are based minutes north of Davenport in Eldridge, Iowa, which puts every Quad Cities venue inside a short drive — Davenport, Bettendorf, Moline, East Moline, Rock Island, Le Claire, Silvis and Milan included. Travel inside the Quad Cities metro is always included in our packages, and we regularly shoot the river towns and farm country beyond it without a travel fee.
